With this pull string station, a call is placed by pulling the string. The call is canceled by pushing up on the switch. There is an LED to show when the call is placed. A battery pack with 2 AA batteries is used to power the LED.
The string can easily be removed to use the switch by pushing on the red slider.
The pull string station can be mounted using a plaster ring or by using a plastic single gang box.
The transmitter has a range of at least 150 ft. The range can be extended by adding a signal repeater.
The transmitter uses a CR123A battery which is included.
