This repeater will receive the signal from a wireless device or another repeater and transmit it at a power level much higher than what the wireless device uses.
The repeater is needed when wireless devices are located on multiple floors of a building. It would also be needed when devices are more than 150 ft. from the annunciator unit.
This unit also contains a rechargeable backup battery. It includes a plug in 14 volts AC transformer.
