This is a waterproof pull string station. With this pull string station, a call is placed by pulling the string. The call is canceled by pushing up on the switch. The LED on the switch is not powered as it is easy to see when red slider is activated. If it is desireable to have the LED working, a battery pack can be added for no additional cost.
The string can easily be removed to use the switch by pushing on the red slider.
The pull string station can be mounted using a plaster ring or by using a plastic single gang box.
The transmitter has a range of at least 150 ft. The range can be extended by adding a signal repeater.
The transmitter uses a CR123A battery which is included.
